The Transportation Specialist at Optum is responsible for making deliveries to and from the pharmacy, clinic, and resident homesThey may also provide assistance in the pharmacy when no deliveries are scheduledThe schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with specific hours listedThe main duties include preparing medications/products for delivery, completing deliveries in a timely and courteous manner, verifying receipt of items delivered, and processing required paperworkOther responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, maintaining a clean pharmacy environment, and assisting with various tasks as assignedThe preferred qualifications include previous delivery experience, previous experience in a healthcare setting, previous customer service experience, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English or French/CreoleThe salary range for this position in New York is $16.
